What is the Measure of My Days

An active mediation through:

-Psalms 39

-Ephesians 3 & 4

What is the measure of my days? "that according to the [riches of His glory] He may grant me to be strengthened ->>> with power through His Spirit->>> in my inner being"

SO THAT

"Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. That I, being rooted in love, may have the strength to comprehend with all the saints

what is the BREADTH and LENGTH and HEIGHT and DEPTH

and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with ALL the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:14-19

->>To know what surpasses knowing is a sublime [something of outstanding worth, immense beauty, supreme existence] privilege of the believer alone. <<-

And isn't this my purpose --- to pass along this privilege. With all humility, gentleness, and patience? Eager to maintain unity of the Spirit dwelling inside me and amongst my fellow believers. "Speaking THE truth in love" we are to grow up in every way ->>into->> Him who is the head [into Christ]. When each part of the body, when I, am working properly, the body grows so that it builds itself up in love.

Therefore, "giving up the futility of my mind"

-greediness

-ignorance

-hardness

-impurity

may I "put off my old self AND be RENEWED in the Spirit of my mind ->> putting on the new self [created after the likeness of God] in true righteousness and holiness."

-speaking truth

-not letting the sun go down on my anger lest I give the devil a foothold

-doing honest work so that I may share with anyone in need

-letting no corrupt talk come from my mouth; only encouragement.

-May my words give grace to those who hear them

-Not grieving the Holy Spirit--who lives inside of me and has sealed my soul for the day of redemption

-Releasing all bitterness. It will never serve me.

-Putting on kindness and forgiveness

Ephesians 4

"Oh Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths and my lifetime is as nothing before you...For I am a sojourner with You" Psalms 39:4-5, 12

When I forget Lord; when I allow my thoughts to be filled with all manner of earthly things-Bring me back here. Bring me back to the sublime privilege of knowing You. My Joy, my True Love, my Only.
